Contract:         Permanent, 37 Hours per Week; All Year Round

Salary:            Grade 8 Points 22-25 (Currently £21,074 – £23,111)

Start Date:      1 October 2018 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Site Manager to work full-time (37 hours per week) to manage our extensive school grounds and new buildings.  The successful applicant will need to work flexibly, the hours will be predominantly during the day, but may involve some evening / weekend work to meet the ever changing needs and demands of a busy school environment.

The main areas of responsibility for the job role are the security and health & safety of the site and buildings, management of the statutory planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and repairs as required, leadership of the cleaning team, oversight of lettings, and to undertake general caretaker and cleaning duties on a daily basis.

The job role will require excellent communication skills at all levels.  The post holder will need to continually liaise with external contractors and have strong negotiation skills.  Good skills in ICT are also required including email, Word, and Excel.
