Headteacher's Welcome

The Elton High School Specialist Arts College and College of Mathematics and Computing is successful, high performing and well supported by parents, because high quality education is offered to all students in a caring atmosphere. Our long tradition of offering personal attention, service, and a high degree of professional commitment, provide the best conditions under which our students can develop a successful school career.
We aim to ensure that each student achieves his or her full potential in a happy and secure school community. We recognise that every student who enters the School is unique - having his or her own special abilities and needs, and during his / her School life, we will do our very best to ensure these abilities are developed and needs are met. Our designation as an Arts College (Visual) and College of Mathematics and Computing extends even further the opportunities available for all students in School.
We do our utmost to help our students achieve their maximum academic potential, while at the same time helping them to develop into socially mature, responsible and caring young adults. The pursuit of excellence is valued in every aspect of School life, supported by high professional standards in the service of our students.
This website provides information about the School and its philosophy: if you wish to view our students and staff at work, please do not hesitate to contact School. My colleagues and I look forward to meeting you
Yours sincerely
